For over a quarter of a century, One of a Kind Hospitality has been a pivotal force in shaping the culinary identity of Logan Square's Milwaukee Avenue. Our journey, beginning with a single deli in 1991, mirrors the dynamic evolution of the neighborhood itself. Today, we proudly operate seven distinct and thriving establishments, each contributing its unique flavor to the local scene.

The Harding Tavern: Introduced to our family of venues, The Harding Tavern offers a contemporary take on the classic tavern experience, blending tradition with innovation to create a lively gastro-pub ambiance.

The Old Plank: As a newer addition, The Old Plank infuses rustic charm with modern flair, offering an eclectic array of drinks and dishes that capture the essence of Logan Square's vibrant spirit.

Saba Italian: Bringing the authentic taste of Italy to Logan Square, Saba Italian delights patrons with traditional Italian cuisine, served in a setting that echoes the warmth and charm of Italy.

Red Star Liquor and Deli: Where the journey began – our original liquor store, now known as Red Star Liquor and Deli, continues to be a community staple, offering a unique blend of gourmet delicacies and fine spirits. The Deli was launched in 2020.

The Walk In: Tucked away in the heart of the neighborhood, The Walk In is a cozy speakeasy-style bar renowned for its expertly crafted cocktails and intimate atmosphere.

Café Con Leche: A local favorite since 2001, Café Con Leche bridges cultures with its vibrant fusion of coffee shop charm and delicious bites, embodying the diverse spirit of the community.

Mr E's Late Night: Catering to the night owls of Logan Square, Mr E's Late Night is the quintessential spot for unwinding, offering a dynamic menu in a laid-back setting.

Hello and welcome,

I’m Esam Hani, a Logan Square native and the hands behind One of a Kind Hospitality. Growing up here, I often had to leave my neighborhood to find certain experiences, which inspired me to bring those experiences home.

Since opening Red Star Liquor in 1991, we’ve grown to include Café Con Leche, The Harding Tavern, The Walk In, Saba Italian, The Old Plank, the deli inside Red Star Liquor, and Mr. E’s Late Nite. My goal has always been to provide a place where neighbors can gather, eat well, and make a toast without leaving Logan Square.

I'm incredibly proud of what my team and I have accomplished together. We aim to make our guests feel at home and help create lasting memories.

Our doors are open to everyone, whether you're a longtime resident or just passing through. Each of our seven spots has its own personality, but they all share the same heart. We’re here to serve up delicious food, refreshing drinks, and great times.
